Norfolk Club Visit

We met at the Norfolk Club in Upper King St for a tour and an evening meal! The Club is the City Home to many Country Ladies and Gents as well as a place where Business People meet, relax, eat and drink. Tim, our host, gave us a talk on the history stressing that the club has a smart casual dress code and is open to Women members! The Clubhouse has a very calm feel and good facilities!

IoD Visit to McCarthy

We enjoyed a fantastic tour around D&F McCarthy’s new state of the art distribution depot where fruit and veg plus Deli products are stored in chilled units before being supplied to a wide range of clients including the Royal Household, hotels, restaurants and many other professionals.
Martin McCarthy explained all and let us try some of the fantastically fresh produce. We left with avocadoes, asparagus and a massive box of dates which was shared out at dinner. Needless to say that we all definitely had our 5 a day that evening.

Max Giammello- April Light Lunch

April’s Light Lunch featured Max Giammello whose Norwich based Salon is home to the creative genius behind some of the best dressed heads in Norfolk.

The Salon’s team regularly attend shows and seminars, but we had Max himself with his model. He talked about the importance of looking good to stay ahead in business (applies to both Men and Women) and demonstrated how he had achieved the model’s sophisticated look.

A lively question and answer session followed lunch and everyone left with a Sassoon goody bag!
